Stunningly Brave Israeli Officer Uses Hamas Thug as a Shield Against the Thug’s own Grenade

This is an amazing video of a couple of Israeli officers who unwittingly stumble across two Hamas terrorists. There is some gun play and one Hamas goon throws a grenade at the officers, and misses. When he throws a second grenade, one of the officers, instead of running away, runs toward the guy, picks him up, and uses the terrorist’s body as a shield against the blast. Result . . . two dead terrorists, no dead Israelis.
The video and subtitles are tough to follow at first, but it gets pretty clear by the end.
Good stuff.

I had seen this before, and the comments following included the term “meat shield”. That’s not a very lady like term, but I can’t forget it.

Israelis are real soldiers, not like pissant US wuss soldiers. Israelis could kick their asses in war, which is why the US doesn’t mess with Israel.
American soldiers are brave, too – and deserve our respect on every front, Jazzy. However, I will agree with you – the IDF is the best fighting force by far in the world.
Why is the IDF the best fighting force in the world? I know that they are, I am curious as to your reasoning on this, omitting the techno side of the issue, please.
I have my own ideas about the why of it, interested in yours and the other folks commenting on this post.

The Israeli people are G-d’s Chosen. He never forsakes those He loves. Allows to be punished from time to time, yes, but never forsakes.
Israel is now in a part of their ancestral home. Much of their homeland is still occupied by Arabs, but they do have an important part.
In order for G-d’s plan to be fulfilled, the 3d temple needs to be built. Clearly, no one will build the temple but the Israelis. The temple must also be built on historical grounds. So the Israelis must be protected by His hand from all dangers.
The IDF, then, is empowered, made wise, and allowed to be successful because it fulfills His desires.
They won’t always be successful. A time will come when the world will completely turn its back on Israel. It will collapse, and the Jewish people scattered one last time. But it will be for a short period – three and a half years. Then no more. Forever.
Dear Clyde: The Israelites are G-d’s Chosen because he selected them to bring the word and truth of the One and Only Lord our G-d, King of the Universe to the peoples of the world, NOT because he favors them above others.
The IDF may be the world’s best in limited circumstances, because they are the vanguard in an existential conflict with those who follow a false prophet, engage in pedastry, believe that Abraham, Moses and Jesus were Moslems, and believe that scripture requires the destruction of Israel and the Jews. They literally have to fight for their existence and that of their children against a violent, bloodthirsty, possessed hoarde of lunatics seeking to fulfill their prophet’s deathbed oath to fight all men until they say there is no god but his. That being said, the best fighting force in the history of the world is the U.S. Marine Corps which, unleashed, could destroy a military 100 times its size. Unfortunately, it is restrained by careerist wimps and traitors in the U.S. Govt whose President is a crypto-Moslem, whose Attorney General supports and defends terrorists (quite literally if you pay attention to the news these days), and whose Pentagon has been extensively infiltrated by CAIR and other elements of the Moslem Brotherhood.
Nonetheless, this Israeli soldier brilliantly employed a battlefield tactic now known as “The Meat Shield,” and we can all learn from his experience. May that filthy Hamas Dog be wrapped in pigskin and left to rot where the vultures can pick his bones clean.
I understand, KB. We’re not disagreeing. G-d’s plan is what drives Israel’s protection.
