RNC never learns: Cutting its own throat on Crist v. Rubio
First, check out this video:
I am beyond disappointed or hurt. I am personally offended.
Do you idiots never learn? There is no such thing as Republican or democrat anymore. Look at the rise of independents, goofballs! There is one thing every independent rejects, absolutely and completely: Being told that party registration of a candidate means adherence to a pre-set list of positions, that we somehow can’t talk to people of different registrations. As Korn sang, Freak on a leash. I am at a complete loss to grasp the depth of your inability to understand modern politics.
Here’s some news from Bulletin for you:
The St. Petersburg Times reported that Florida Gov. Charlie Crist (R), a Senate candidate, “stunned many by saying he did not know President Barack Obama was in Jacksonville recently to visit with US troops,” but the email record shows that his staff was informed, and told the administration he could not attend. Fox News reports the sons of ex-Florida Gov. Jeb Bush plan “to hold a private fundraiser” for Marco Rubio’s “insurgent” challenge to Crist in the GOP primary next month, which “raises the possibility that their father could endorse Rubio down the road and give his campaign added momentum.”
Meanwhile, the Pensacola News Journal reports that Crist’s communications director, Erin Isaacs, resigned yesterday “but insisted she was not hounded out by a spate of bad publicity dogging the governor.” The South Florida Sun-Sentinel said that Isaac’s “exit speaks to Crist’s sagging fortunes. It follows two weeks of unbelievably bad press in which Crist denied he knew that President Barack Obama was visiting troops in Jacksonville, and then denied he ever ‘endorsed’ the president’s economic stimulus package despite campaigning with Obama for its passage in Fort Myers.”
Do you get the message? Taking a “not a good Republican” stance is pathetically ignorant of the current state of American politics.
If you clowns want to get to and remain in power, you better drop the party label. You better find values. You better run your campaigns and spend your money based on values – and support the candidates that meet those values. End of story.

I could not have said it better myself, the same dem fools were yelling at me saying… “you;re a democrat, you have to vote for a democrat”
That’s when I knew, I’ver had it with both parties, I want candidates that believe and promote the principles this country is founded on, smaller govt, conseravtivsim… etc (leave the social stuff out though)…they can call themselves repub, dems.. whatever.. but this party thing is sooo yesterday.
What draws me so much to the independent movement is that I went this way in 2003, I think. There was no discussion in the blog world or legacy press about it. I just looked the Republican party, which I joined when I was 18, and said – no. I wasn’t joining anything. I just ended a relationship. And since I have come to reaffirm that many times over.
I felt so sad for this NJ guy. Exit poll. Who’d you vote for? Well, i don’t like Corzine. I didn’t want to vote for him. But my union said I had to.
Now i see this ad by the RNC or whichever Republican slush fund they drained money from. They are attacking Rubio because he is not a “good Republican”? How insulting.
