Not so chummy anymore.
The claim is that an investigation into a company doing business with the state has complicated his appointment. He claims he has done nothing wrong. Of course he does.
He expresses “deep regret.” Yes. We are sure he does.

I saw this on CNN – in the midst of pictures of anguished Palestinians – and thought – how peculiar.
He is either jumping ship or he was asked to leave by the incoming administration. Hard to make heads or tails out of this move.
What do you think Clyde? Something fishy going on?
it cannot be solely due to the ongoing investigation in new mexico. that is too pat for a person to leave a cabinet position. look at the baggage hillary brings, for example.
so either richardson is much more deeply involved than is presently being admitted, or he wants out.
he is too proud of his hispanic roots and how those could be used in commerce than the admitted facts tell me are an adequate basis for bailing.
so we’ll see …
Given his facial hair maybe he can get a job as a wrestler.
After, of course, he heals from being run over by the Bambi Express.
