Open letter to Michael Steele: You need to go

After all the stupidity you have foisted on the national stage, Michael, here’s the final straw:

Responding during a interview to TV One’s Roland Martin, who said that “white Republicans have been scared of black folks,” Steele replied: “You’re absolutely right.”

“I’ve been in the room and they’ve been scared of me,” said Steele, the first African-American RNC chairman. “I’m like, ‘I’m on your side.’”

Let me back up the “all the stupidity” crack.

Post-NY23, you brazenly said to RINOs: “We’ll come after you.” Really? Let back up the clock a little bit:

Of course, before that, you said: “I support the Republican nominee, as the Republican Party chairman,” Steele told MSNBC Wednesday morning. “And that’s the way it should go.”

OK, so you weren’t too quick on the uptake. But, hey, how’s the Illinois and Delaware US Senate races looking? Mark Kirk and Mike Castle seem to be doing great as the GOP candidates! So let’s look at them:

Mark Kirk. He believes that abortions should always be legally available. He believes that tax cuts are a “Medium Priority.” Worse yet, his “Low Priority” is defense. He wants to “promote the selling of pollution credits between nations to encourage industries to decrease pollution levels.” Concerning the 2d Amendment, Kirk wants to 1. Raise the minimum age for ownership of handguns from 18 to 21; 2. Require background checks of gun buyers at gun shows; and 3. Require a license for gun possession. Smells like a RINO to me, Mike. Going after him?

Mike Castle. Planned Parenthood gives him a rating of 75, while the National Right to Life Committee gives him the goose egg -0-. Taxes? National Taxpayers Union -D-. His shining light: National Education Association -A-. He’s loved by the group that single-handedly destroyed the public-school system. The American Family Association tosses a shoe at him (-0-) and the Family Research Council manages a measly 23. Onto the litmus test: That machined and polished metal that you will remove from my cold, dead fingers … the 2d Amendment personal right to be locked and loaded. National Rifle Association gave “Mike” a grade of F, and the Gun Owners of America gave him … wait for it .. a rating of F-. F MINUS?!?! Have the hell bad to do you have to be to add a MINUS to an F. Gee, RINO, eh?

Yet there you sit, Mr. Steele, silent as a church mouse during Mass.

Conclusion: Embarrassing bravado and grossly inaccurate.
