NRA ad uses New York ‘mobster’ to help McDonnell in Virginia

Hard to go wrong ripping New York in Virginia.
According to Ben Smith, the NRA will spend $500,000 in the final 4 weeks of the campaign in support of McDonnell.
The irony of this is that in the 2005 Attorney General’s race between the same two men, the NRA supported Deeds, the Democrat, over McDonnell. But in the intervening years, Deeds went a little wobbly and now the NRA has sent the mob down to give us a good talking to.
UPDATE: Charles in the comments reminded me that the AG race was in 2005, not 1995. Fixed.
