We were all screaming “%$^&*/@ LIAR!” Joe just happened to have a better seat, within earshot of the president, and yelled it in one of those lulls where it really sounds loud. Rush wishes that Wilson hadn’t apologized, but gives him the points for recognizing that this isn’t a garden party and patriots don’t stand mute while Obama takes a sledge hammer to our freedom and economy.

Let me suggest that Joe Wilson last night was not yelling at the president as a member of Congress. He was yelling at the president as just plain Joe Wilson from South Carolina.

I agree whole-heartedly. I have been yelling “liar” for months now….and I am so glad that Joe Wilson did for the American people what we were unable to do….say it basically to his face.
And by the way, it might be a good idea if we send some money to his Congressional campaign…his opponents have raised a lot of money from this episode….we need to put our money where our mouth is… I just sent off a check….we need to show him support….
