Anti-ObamaCare Ad that ABC and NBC Refused to Air
Okay, if the state-run media won’t run it, then it is up to us to do their job for them. As Rush has noted many times, while health care reform may be Obama’s Waterloo, Obama is the MSM’s Waterloo. They have utterly abandoned any pretense of objectivity or professional journalism and are literally nothing more than mouthpieces for the White House.
Keep in mind that the ABC that wouldn’t run this 30 second ad, is the same ABC that had an hour-long infomercial at the White House supporting ObamaCare.
Sometimes I think the media’s bias actually works against them, because had they not refused to run the ad, it is possible (though not probable) that I would not have seen the ad and not therefore ask you all to forward it to anybody you know to give it the maximum possible exposure. We can and will go over the heads of these leftist media sycophants and take the message to the people, whether ABC and NBC like it or not.

This ad is like a laughing Bob-Enzyte commercial. Outwardly appealing, obviously misleading, fear based and untrue. Seniors will benefit from expanded coverage not suffer from it As for the reference to Canada and Britain, although Britain and Canada have decided that no one will go without, even if some must occasionally wait, the U.S. has decided that most of those who can’t afford care simply won’t get it. Would you rather wait four months for a surgery or be unable to get it altogether? 24% of Americans reported that they did not get medical care because of cost. Twenty-six percent said they didn’t fill a prescription. And 22% said they didn’t get a test or treatment. Those latter numbers are probably artificially small: If you can’t afford to see a doctor, you never know that you can’t afford the treatment she would recommend. In Britain and Canada, only about 6% of respondents reported that costs had limited their access to care. Surveys conducted by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development have found that most countries don’t have waiting lines or the uninsured. Not Germany or France or Japan or Sweden, all of which have more of a mix of public and private options.
