2008 Weblog Awards Nominations

This is the Big Daddy of Blog Awards. The nomination period closes on Friday. Patriot Room has been nominated for Best New Blog, Best Individual Blogger, Best Conservative Blog, and Best Small Major Blog. If you want to head over to the Weblog Awards site, to nominate us again, the more nominations we receive, the better. Go to the link and click on the nomination category. To nominate the blog, you have to leave a comment at the bottom of that “post.” They want you to leave the name of the blog, the url, and the feed url. Here they are – you can copy them from here and just paste them in.

After Friday, Weblogs will select 15 nominees from each category, on which the public will vote again to choose the winners.

If you only want to fiddle with this for a minute, we probably have the best chance at Best New Blog and Best Small Major Blog, so hit those.

For our friends who nominated their “other” favorite blog, you can still nominate Patriot Room, and then vote for your buddy in the finals. We’re laid back about that stuff.

Special note for our PUMA friends. I saw River Daughter, No Quarter, and others nominated for some of the categories. But as your favorite Conservative Blogger, think about throwing Billy D. a little love on the Best Conservative Blog and Best Small Major Blog categories.
